I am interested in part-time freelance work. I'm willing and available to

• Write feature articles, news articles, newsletters, copy for any publication and blog posts.
• Research information for your use in writing your own reports or making decisions.
• Write, address and post bulk mailings such as Christmas cards, birth announcements, special event invitations, thank yous, etc. (I'm willing to hand write these for the personal touch.)
• Entertain offers for jobs which I can do from home and around my family's schedule.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Journalism and minor in Political Science.
• Spent two years as a government reporter for Suffolk News-Herald, a daily small town newspaper.
• Freelanced 15 months for the local features section of the Virginian Pilot
  
• Investigated and paid automobile insurance claims six years for USAA, a Fortune 500 Company.
• Led change initiatives to streamline the claims handling process and delivery of customer service for four years at USAA, which often ranks at the top of J.D. Powers lists for customer service.
• Earned an advance certification in Executive Coaching from George Washington University.
• Trained consultant for Natural Church Development, an international process for addressing organizational health of any Catholic or Protestant church.
• Active volunteer at all levels of public schools, PTA officer, Special Education Parent Surrogate, Member of Special Education Citzen Advisory Committee.
• Created mailing lists for mass mailing for American Red Cross and local political candidate.
